Got Mugged!

Ok don't panic! LOL! That is just the title of this next layout! Inspired by a sketch at Cocoa Daisy!

We have a huge collection of mugs, and these are just some of them that I decided to snap a photo of!

For this layout, I wanted to incorporate some rich browns and I chose the teal/turquoise/light blue to go with it, as brown and blue are one of my favorite color combos (oh who am I kidding, I love all color combos).

Patterned paper used in this layout are: Bobunny double dot (chocolate vintage) and mamarazzi, Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic.

Background stamps were Bobunny and Heartfelt creations.

I applied several stamp images to the brown double dot to give it a bit more texture with distress paints. Dots of blue in the background are twinkling H2O's. HS color shine seafoam was then sprayed in areas to add a bit of sheen to the brown.

Chipboard shapes are from my silhouette. I applied gesso, distress paint in vintage photo and then sprays of Lindy's Starburst Cattail Copper Brown. I love the coppery effect this gave all the chipboard.

The clock face is also from my silhouette. Background paper was covered with white TH distress crackle paint and distress ink.

The coffee mug was also made from the silhouette then covered in ranger crackle accents and Tim's distress ink.

You can really see some of the stamping that was applied to the background of the brown double dot paper in this layout!

One of the coolest things I love about this layout is this coffee bag. My dad and his wife had brought me back this small pouch of coffee from Jamaica years ago. I had kept the bag thinking, I'll use this someday! This was the perfect layout for it!

Thanks for dropping by to have a look everyone! Grab a mug and join me for a cup of coffee!
